Jayden’s hometown is Unionville, Ontario. She started playing hockey at the age of five years old. Instantly she fell in love with the sport. Jayden loves the exciting feeling of walking into a cold arena and radiating with excitement. Taking her first step on the new ice as the crowd roars with enthusiasm is the feeling of gold to Jayden. She loves the competitiveness and how every game is different from the last. Hockey has given her a second family and another place to call home. Her coaches and teammates describe Jayden as a leader, uplifting, hardworking, outgoing, and passionate. Her sisters inspire Jayden. Growing up, she watched them from the crowd. She went to all their practices and games for many years. They have always been there for Jayden and have guided her in the right direction. Jayden looks up to them in many ways, school, sports, etc. When Jayden is not playing hockey, she enjoys participating in other sports like volleyball and surfing. Being at the cottage with my friends and family, hanging in the sun, water and working two jobs fill up the rest of her time.
