The Junior Lightning have won the 2022 OWHL U22AA Elite Playoff Championship. During a tough weekend of competition, the Bolts defeated Oakville (2-1), Cambridge (6-1), Kitchener/Waterloo (1-0), and Mississauga (5-3) to earn a spot in the Championship game. In a back and forth game played at an extremely high pace, the Junior Lightning defeated Etobicoke 5-0 to bring home GOLD.
After capturing the OWHL U22AA Elite Regular Season and the Playoff Championships, the Bolts record for league play finishes at 33-0-1-1. The season’s last event is the OWHA Provincial Championships, April 7-9 at Iceland.
